Fly like a Bird land like a Stone

The magic roundabout

rides pound a time

ghost of cousin Sally

gives me a smile

whispers in my ear

Please hang on tight

I fell off here

landed with broken neck

buried inside local cemetery

that one over there

not far to go

for a fairground flyer

to name on stone.

Thanks Graham and Colin

I loved the dodgems too but no battle scars for me!

I like the tag as much as the poem Nigel. I remember getting a split lip on the dodgems with my dad as a young kid not properly strapped in. I was always wary after that.

Chillingly brief but effective Nigel
