The Eye Of The Storm
The house is silent now
syliva being churned disturbs the air
A total eclipse of the sun
A total eclipse of my heart
A darkness cast upon my soul that I took part
It took two to sail the ship
Two to be strong
One not fully equipped
The gayle forces did not lift
Tensions bared tight
the main sail torn from the hull
The troubled waters over take the ship
The relation was done
The passengers scrounging for safety
Through ignorance or intent, it did not matter
The heading had been set
One franticly tried to avoid certain disaster
Any effort now, no longer mattered
The voyage that led to the present, now, no longer with hope to navigate
My responsibity, now, to save the passengers from drowning
while the other swims to land.
All survived the reckage
The old members of the crew now navigate their own ships
And the passenges voyage aboard both vesles
With fears and hopes of these ships staying afloat
On this still night, I have no crew or passenger
I look to the stars for direction
hope of winds to guide my sails to new discovery
