Averitia
I am not a person driven by greed,
More a person driven by need.
What I want is not of great importance,
A believer in moderate abstinence.
But now and then I feel the fire,
The need for a Dark Desire.
I am wary of those who are driven by greed,
Those who constantly feel the need.
To take advantage of those less fortunate,
Preying on their emotions as they profligate.
To the accumulation of wealth they do aspire,
As they feed their need for Dark Desire.
Rising from the depths of my very soul
The Dark Desire becomes my goal.
Needs and wants become distinguished,
And the Dark Desire becomes extinguished.
Deceitful delectation adorned with gullible souls,
Ripped assunder by Dark Desire's ghouls.
Fashioned abominally from pure malice,
Wonderland this cerainly ain't, Alice!
Eden in Ashes , Hell frozen over,
How do we from this Megidio recover?
Do not rely upon our phoenix like ability,
Truth is an illusory maleable reality.
The echoes of heartbeats past,
Emerge from their coccoon at last.
To feedĀ anew on a banquet of fears,
And as with all things, ends in tears.
Rising from the depths of my very soul
The Dark Desire becomes my goal.
Needs and wants become distinguished,
And the Dark Desire becomes extinguished.
