Technophobic Dream

There is another dream I dread
I cannot get it out of my head
Switching on my laptop
For a nice bit of catch up
It crashes and explodes
Then displays a fault code
This all then becomes moot
After a full re boot
Now I can finally begin
The ceremony of login
Failing to recognise my fingerprint
A message gives a password hint
I wipe and swipe over again
Still access I fail to gain
Frustration gets the better of me
And I try to turn on the TV
Pressing buttons with no response
Thrice, twice and just once
It cannot be turned on remotely
I check the back for batteries
Nope, there must be some glitch
So I check the socket and the switch
No problems here that I can find
This techno fear is messing with my mind
Turning back to my laptop I sit and stare
Then in frustration I throw it at the chair
It bounces up and changes into a butterfly
Flying out of the window and into the sky
I daren't turn and check the tv
Just incase it has become something scary
But just as I am about to turn around
I hear a worrying hissing sound
Yes, you've guessed it's now a snake
Hurriedly I must my exit make
So why does tech take on this depiction
In the dream land of my science fiction

That is great. I am sure a lot of people could identify with that.
In my case, why do I always say 'sorry' to my laptop when I make a mistake, it never says sorry to me.
