word play

A big thankyou to all the people who commented last time!

here's a new one

Word play

Words are dancing across the page,

I guess they want to come out to play.

They are dancing the mambo, the tango, and the fandango

-to a disco beat

they are playing games with my feet.

Dancing through my fingers and toes

where they are off to nobody knows

dancing down the street I suppose,

To play a game or two

With local kids or a football team.

Or did I just dream the whole thing

either way I like to mix and match my words

conjure a word play and be slick and quick off the mark

to provide my words with a spark

but I swear those words just started to dance off the page again

or was it all just a trick of the light!
