WE ARE MORE...

entry picture

Neither this mind,

nor this frame,

we are here,

for a bigger game.

Neither for triumph,

nor astute pleasure,

we are here,

in search of treasure.

Treasure which is lost,

in pleasing domain,

aptly can be found,

on bearing the pain.

Pain as such,

never bear before,

but this will realise,

we are ideally more!

Great imagery for such a short poem, and never be afraid to use more adjectives! Keep up the good work, and I'm sure you'll find parts of your own vocabulary that you didn't even know you possessed. Writing poetry takes time, patience, and the will to never settle for a second-rate piece, all things I'm sure you strive for. I like how each line frames the imagery for the next to take its place flawlessly like a scene changing in a movie.
