It is time for Renewal and Rebirth!

The shedding of habits, worry, and fear

Letting go will put my mind at ease.

I no longer want to feed stress and self doubt,

In the corners of my mind they disappear.

 

I wash away the negativity,

I wash away the pain,

I wash away the regret,

My goal is no longer to please.

My heart will no longer hurt,

I will put myself first!

 

My love is to be cherished,

My happiness is sound,

My health is vital,

My goals will be accomplished,

My spirit is courage, strength, and love.

 

I shall walk in search of the love I left,

For the love that I neglected,

For the love that was forgotten,

My love,

My love of self,

I forgot to love myself.

 

I do not fear the unknown path,

For life is a journey and I will not go back to my past.

Change is never comfortable, 

It will go against the status quo,

But ultimately it is required to grow.

 

I will dive deep into the waters of my soul,

For in its depths,

Pain and trauma will unfold.

I will dive deep,

Uncovering all that was hidden.

I will acknowledge everything; leaving nothing unfinished.

 

As I rise to the surface,

I am kissed by the sun.

I will emerge anew,

The true journey has begun.
