Lon dark way
A long dark way and the loneliness deep
Some memories some wists along i keep
silence complete the wind one can hear
Hissing of moving leaves everywhere
A shady path align with trees
A sight from all cares it frees
Some dry leaves wistfully laid
Some still on trees all greenfly clad
A musk of dry dust in air
The drowning sun with few last stares
rising some smoke from chimneys far offs
dinners ready fresh baking of loafs
Families gathered around fireplaces,
hearing stories of the cozy warm days.
Down the sun goes slowly down,
A darkness cold preceding to crown.
End of an active day so calm.
Healing the aches it becomes a balm.
The endless road I keep on treading.
What if the darkness is all around spreading.
Still got miles and miles to cover
Let come the Fogg the dew the shower,
A steady walk and an endless road,
The more is left the more I trode
