Wednesday, 9^th December at 4pm sees the launch of the Journal of British and Irish Innovative Poetry at the University of Salford. The journal aims to provide a home for critical articles on the history context close reading, and poetics of what has been called ‘innovative poetry’. Following speeches and discussions of the journal, there will be an opportunity for readers and contributors to meet and a share a drink with editorial board members.

The guest speakers will be Christine Kennedy of Leeds Trinity & All Saints, Allen Fisher of Manchester Metropolitan University; and Ian Davidson from University of Wales at Bangor.

All are welcome and entry is free.
