a poem for a girl i can never have unless a miracle happens
based on my mad dreams from last night after having too much beer and watching the stunning nick cage film Knowing too. this came to me and drunkenly i did it in my phone and then wrote it out. i cant ever tell the gal coz she wont wanna know. i believe we'll be together in another life. but i want her now but she not want me. such is life.
ECHO CLASS
What strange dreams I have. Of HM, of my natural world being so different, of a family of mad people being my mates then killing us, of faster than light travel. What does it mean? Has man made ships that can go to the stars? Where did he get his tech from, it has to be alien? A century of flight is too little for star travel. I’m asked to go along due to my mad dreams in my head and my writing. I guess it’ll be my job to write and I picked up what they do in my dreams. They asked me what gal I want I say HMH she’s wed though. They say no problem. I don’t ask how they do it but soon we are on a new world so far from home. For good, stranded. I must look after my new pagan bride as she teaches me to make bread. I wonder if she would like to train to be a starship pilot with me and fly an Echo Class ship? If the ships come back I’ll ask for us both. Things are good for now on our new world.
