"Opened that door"


One night, i was cruising in my porsche, with my music blaring, When i noticed this fine girl stood staring.

She was so beautiful, real sexy too,
She approached my ride, right on cue. She knocked on my window and asked for a ride, I smiled at her and happily replied,

Girl you're the one i dream about,
You're the one i cant do without,
I never met anyone like you before,
My life changed when you opened that door.

She got in and we drove for a while, We didnt go far, just for a few mile. I dropped her off and i thought she was gone, but the next day she sent me a text, so i knew it was on.

She said she would text but i thought she lied, i text straight back, and i replied,

Girl you're the one i dream about,
You're the one i cant do without,
I never met anyone like you before,
My life changed when you opened that door.

We got together and my life was peeking, I finally found everything i was seeking, her birthday was coming up and i didnt know what to do, So i bought her a 70's beetle, nothing brand new, we went to ibiza, just us two, She said evo, u know how much i love you.

She wasn't happy at work so i found her a better job, Her previous employer was nasty, a complete nob.

After a while, we moved to a bigger place, It made her happy to have more space.

It took me a while but i finally  found work, When i told her, i told her with a smirk. She said thank you baby im so proud, I was so happy, my head was in a cloud.

We wanted to get married on a tv show, With help, we recorded a video, This is when we began to fall apart, But she was still so deep in my heart,

 She said she needed to do her own thing, I begged her to stop, said i was her king, She dismissed everything i tried, so i gave up and i cried,

When she left, i was desperate to keep my life on track, So desperate to get my girl back. I could never see my life without her, The pain only gets greater and greater.

Now i have nothing, homeless and single, On dating sites trying to mingle. But theres only one girl im needing, Without her im just bleeding, But she wont come back, not ever, Despite everything we did together.

She looks so sad but she tells me shes happy, I disagree and she gets snappy. She said to walk away, she said she couldnt be my bride, so i turned away and i cried.

Now i pretend that i have moved on,
Living my life now that shes gone.
But it just feels so empty with her away, Everyday the pain will stay.

I dream every night, that one day she will return, That she will come back and tell me to learn. But i have to let go and start again, On my heart is a large stain.

I promise i will never forget,
