Nothing especially profound: the poem was just culled from a post on an American bodybuilding site to highlight a feature of the human condition.

Talk. That pain can be healed; nothing is insurmountable. You have to do it, and you can.

I disagree. The die needn't be cast. Get out and do something about it. Or sit there feeling sorry for yourself.
