Autumn Wind

We was sixteen
On a cool autumn day
You was waiting on me
To come to your place for pancakes
But I never showed up
I never showed up

I am sorry for what happens next
I am sorry for what happens next
They found my body in the lake
I am sorry my love

The blood was pouring out of my head
The last time you seen me
We was making love in your room
Does anyone ever die happy?

My death is all I have now
So keep it down
I can't stop but think of you
Does anyone ever die happy?
Because I'm dying without you
But if I died with you I couldn't take the pain away

Thank you that's the greatest compliment I've ever had in my life. ??

I think I should read more of your poems Damon. There is something disturbingly appealing about their disjointed haphazardness, well this one anyways. All the best. Colin.
