Crossroads
We come at the crossroads,we stand still
Our eyes shut, can't gauge our own will
The heart leaps one way, wisdom the other
Any way you glance, the road is uphill
What is right and what is wrong
When are we weak and when should be strong
Who will decide this
In this journey so long
With shaky legs and clenched fist
We move on despite the blinding mist
No need of sunshine with the gleam in our eyes
There's a gentle hand around our wrist
We pause for a moment, take deep breath
Looking downhill at the great depth
Up above we're nearing greater heights
Which will span the whole scene at length
Creation in varying hues sprawling grand
Gazing at the landscape we stand
Dusky dark clouds looming over
But someone's still holding our hand
Finally we do reach the hilltop
Find a place to rest and stop
Blue sky and a white fluffy cloud
Lush green grass with a dewdrop
At the crossroads our mind does wander
Did we really make it, it does wonder
The tender touch now loosened softly
Smiling at a distance, its "Hope" over yonder
Beaming reassuringly hear her say
Whatever path you take, choose any way
"Happiness follows you,
If you shall allow me to stay"
