Tears fall… Love you, dad

The tears fill my eyes

when I try to memorize

His picture in mind

I only find his kindness

what a feeling for a small kid?

when he goes to read his result

and feels insulted

when the response comes " well done"

But I feel so great

when he states

to others about

my being successful

He was simple and hardworking

but his sympathy and feelings were almost striking

he won't say by the visible gesture

but be will doubly ensure our welfare

No, he did not let misfortune to strike

but willingly liked

it to take place

and shield us from its chase

I look back those days

when we had no other ways

to counter poverty

and always prayed an almighty

Father is always the father

sometimes better than the mother

but we are fortunate enough to hare their kindness

so it is but natural for tears to drop on the face

yes I agree with Hannah. I lost my father when I was 7 so there have always been many unanswered questions throughout my life. All the best, Colin.

Very moving, a powerful poem on this Father's Day.
