Dying Into Each Other
We all have a birth mother
Each of us has a name
Each has a temple
We all die
We all breathe
We all live in the dirt
We all thirst water
We all hunger sustenance
Gravity prevails
Petals shed and settle
Atop verdant leaves
Vying for the sunshine
The flower’s final blood
Bleeds-out onto the leaf
Burning brightly through
Transposing its essence
With a spiteful scar
For sharing space
Means sharing fate
Secrets spilled
Wisdom instilled
Crossbreed longevity
Genetic gentility
Ancestral progression
Evolution procession
We all seek pleasure
We all pump blood
We all process awe
We all fear hurt
We are, each, miracles
Each of us has value
Each of us has the touch of life
From each of us comes raw potential
We’re all adapting
We all need help
We all can help
Everything is created unto itself
Timelessly retrofitting
Momentarily indefinite
And forever the entirety
