Someone selling out in front of you
Any bit of compassion
Any bit of art
Comes about
Despite these times
Against these laws
Besides people
Who’ve turned
Hard
How rare it is
To find someone
Who’s preserved their
Softness
Not given in to fear
Hasn’t twisted
The knife
Counter-clockwise
Sure we’re all in pain
But there’s a strength
Of humanity greater
I’d like to think
it’s dormant
In everyone
But I could be wrong

The preservation of a gentleness inside us all. Life does have a habit of sanding off the rounded bits of us making us sharper harder.
Great stuff. Thank you. ?
