Deadly Birdy

It begins with a bird, Small and fragile, It was found on dry dirt, Broken wing, weak, not agile.

Poor bird, fell down from a tree, Alll of the sudden, it was was clear to see, To witness this bird will die for certain. And yet there was hope, no time into the bargain.

Poor bird, fell from a tree, All of the sudden, it was clear to see, It was thirsty, the heat was too much. Its heart beat was strong and loud as such.

For a moment I was proud, To help poor bird out, out of its misery. Yet it was too late, it was fate, that took it away, out of its misery, poor bird, now deadly birdy.

I always try to save the birds my devil cat tries to kill. More often than not I fail in doing so, but I always find it worth it to try. Good poem.?
