Unrequited

You'll never know how much I want you
You'll never know how much I need you
You'll never know how much it hurts
to see you in his arms.

Why I pretend not to see,
all these texts you send to me.
Why I decline all your invites,
when I used to see you every time.

He knows I'm your best friend,
he asked about you again.
There's just one thing he doesn't know,
you're the one my heart follows.

I told you to follow your heart,
now I'm lonely all the time.
I have a girfriend but I know,
you're on my mind wherever I go.

I'm your best friend who loves you,
I would be dead if I lost you.
He proved me how much he cares,
he's the one that you deserved.

He makes you happy that I see,
You're like a child under a Christmas tree.
He gave you flowers that I choose,
I knew you loved roses, now he knows too.

They were red and I pry and hope,
you know his reason behind their colour.
Every night he stares at his ceiling,
wondering what is it that he is feeling.

He and I got one thing in common,
and that represents the red colour.
We love you with our whole hearts,
but only one can conquer it all.

I know he will always win this fight,
cause for you I'm just a stupid guy.
