Demon

Nobody was in my house

I was the only one living

Without a dog

Without any friends or family

Loneliness was my daily mood

Depression was hovering like mosquitoes

This life lived in a reality, a city filled with dead people

There were no emotions involved

People only got hurt from judgemental eyes

People were not being treated like people

Nothing resonated with me

I missed a warmth

I was left empty and hurt

I need a fire to burst out

And free my demon from inside

Sounds like the set-up to an episode of 'Luther'. Great piece.?
