Tried And Tested
Their faces reflect purity,
But, the heart screams an objection
The way they walk is gracefull,
But, the words seem to say otherwise.
Venom is like the only language they know,
But they know not that it might cost them.
Its rare to see,
A face appearing guilty,
Yet, overconfidence is their fort.
Being humiliated is an abomination to them,
But, humiliating others is what they find comfort in.
Their appearance is of gold,
But when tried and tested ,
It seems to be just but tinsel and dross,
Their value decreases each time
They open their mouths to talk.
Funny how when seeing them
Its like you have seen angels,
Not knowing that inside is where the beast lies.
"Its always the wrong which seems right,"
They all say.
Its just that realisation has not sinked in yet
Appearance won't matter,
But the heart will be the subject.
