They tell us that the little things don’t matter.

That words can’t hurt us. 

That we need to let go. 

But what if the little things matter?

What if they play huge parts in our lives? 

Because they do. 

The little things make up vast portions of our lives. 

Maybe that’s why some of us don’t let them go.

Maybe that’s why we won’t let them go, 

no matter how hard we try.
