Oldest Friend

We met at the same time I spoke my first word

I know you for so long that I even get lost,

When I say your name out loud

You taught me how to wield a sword

But like everything, it came with a cost

I mistook you for a friend

And turn out to be le contraire

I opened my door

I kept you warm, at the coldest nights

I opened my heart

I gave you all I possessed

But you my friend weren't after that

You were ambitious, you wanted more

I'm sorry I couldn't give to you

I will love you

But it doesn't me

I will be yours
