APATHEIA

 

A word often used by the Stoics,

Meant to reflect control of one’s emotions.

 

We often react emotionally or egotistically,

And lose control when it comes to life’s oceans.

 

We will be drowned by waves,

These are what we call comotions.

 

Everyone has them,

It’s just that some have the right potions.

 

Please understand my hints,

I’m giving you the right notions.
