The truth about...

I heard once that monsters used to live among us.

Can you imagine that?

Eating, sleeping and living just like we do.

But that all changed one day,

I don't know why, but it did.

Now, during the day they can't see us,

and we are tormented by the sight of them,

day and night.

strange, right?

Don't get me wrong, they are interesting creatures,

I just want to know why we must live in a world...

where we are feared.

And why can't they see us in the day?

We're here.

we blend in the shadows around them,

yet why is it only at night when they begin to be afraid?

We cloak ourselves in the light,

so they will not fear us because of our heights,

our strength,

our beauty.

Yet when we emerge from the darkness in the cover of night,

They begin to fear something they cannot clearly see...

They're the monsters,

yet we are the ones confined to darkness.

They think us ugly,

they think us strange,

they call us monsters.

So, in return...

we call them humans.
