John Betjeman Young People's Poetry Competition
The 2010 John Betjeman Poetry Competition is open to 11-14 year olds living in the British Isles.
The competition, which is co-sponsored by Shell International and St. Pancras International Station, has a prize of £1000 (which is donated by John Murray (Publishers) Ltd.), £500 to the winner and £500 to the English department of their school. The closing date is 31st July, winners will be notified by early September, and a prize-giving event will be held in October at St. Pancras International Station.
