SOLVING
Dedicated to all the western volunteers who have fought and died with the Kurdish YPG to defend the Yezedis and to resist Daesh and their allies, the NATO-supported Islamist Turks. Including: Aidan James, 27, who is the second Briton to face terrorist charges after travelling to join the Syrian Kurdish YPG.
Allow all Yezedi refugees into the UK
The Ezedi: Assyrian, Zoroastrian,
Christian and Persian people
Survived 74 attempts at genocide
By their neighbours, the Sunni tribes
But they are still alive.
Smell the desert wind,
See these women, shyly beautiful, armed
YPG soldiers alive beneath the stars:
Desire does not evaporate in this Mesopotamian heat
Our eyes sparkle for all that we no longer have.
This makes us so-sad.
Not that I hope for anything from you, the west,
My sweet life, except more misery.
Compassion never left us
Just the hellish cruelties of the Caliphate intervened,
Weeping dies in this man's eyes
He must avoid the extravagances of love,
Burning sighs can swallow sadness,
The need to find the missing Yezedi girls predominates:
Those 'sex slaves' Daesh bought & sold in Mosul include his daughter FERAŞÎN.
I do not hope for miraculous interventions on the quantum scale to help the Yezedis
For I know how truly selfish we are:
So undiscriminating
Hope must take a quantum leap into an imagined future
where we all take a shine for futurity.
Solving nothing at all
But fighting against the inhuman cruelty
That traps the Ezedi in this heartless present.

I do David thanks. On the 1 o'clock news there was a report of HMG considering allowing British citizens who travelled to fight for and support ISIS back into the UK. I am writing to my MP now to tell her exactly why this should never happen.
