Sunder
As libations enter my heart,
I feel nothing but cold dark space.
When I think of where we are now,
All I see is a tenantless void.
The only thing I crave is a thought;
Just a simple acknowledgement.
All I want is the hope that you’ll give yourself to me.
So prey upon my flesh
And consume it for your pleasure.
All I want is to wander
In this wonderland of hate.
I need is to sunder
My empire of solitude.
Love me for me,
And hate me for all I am.
Forget me.
Live a full life.
I’m finished with this nightmare.
I’ll only see you in strangers dreams,
And that’ll be enough for me.
I’ll move on to what’s due to me.
Love what lands in my lap.
I’ll only think of what we’ll never have
And what we’ll always be.
For my love is eternal
And your cares are frivolous.
You’ll only love you.
I’ll only love the void.
I’ll always wonder what could be next,
While you wonder what could be.
