Your words

Your words

Friday,15th March 2019

I kneel down to lord

and exchange a word

of hopefulness for the future

and seel merciful assurance

I saw bright hope

and allowed your cap

on my head with the label

I felt it so well

to some extent

I conceded at present

and allowed little freedom

but that worked seldom

I rethought about your words

and tried to look beyond

but it failed to work

rather gave me a jerk

your promises were hollow

and allowed me to think with an apprehension

I feared an end to the relationship

and brought an abrupt end of an excitation
