GREED

 

It is the outlined stamp pressed upon our soul.

It is the incestuous need to fill that empty hole.

 

For some, it is the desire to take more than needed.

For some, it is the tradition that they have been feeded.

 

I see it within myself and other humans time after time.

I see it in my daily life sign after sign.

 

The world has chosen to adhere to the desires of our flesh.

The world has chosen to integrate greed to our lives in a mesh.

 

We must be aware of our thirst for more.

We must be aware of what comes from our core.
