In The Beginning
upon the mountain
there is a song that sings
it starts as the sun begins to set
our bodies trans verge to a heavenly seen
stillness begins
all sound ceases
the winds in their shifting phase converge in equal force
and for a moment they kiss and surrender to the nature of flow
giving birth to the evening breeze
The sun refracting its rays through the edge of our outer most sphere
setting the mountain tops a blaze
The wonderous scene
it begins to paint upon the sky as if God himself is holding the brush
highlighting the edges of the clouds with colors that can't be dreamed
Here I stand
not in the future
nor the past
Here I stand present and still
I stand in peace and unisen on this world among all living things
This moment is enough to believe
believe that I can be free
free to reach out with a full loving hand
as was intended for our creation of woman and man
guided by a pure force without restraint
in this captivating stillness I see
the birds begin to sing
and the grass begins to sway
and our twilight says good night to the sun and wishes him a good day
the first star that I see tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
Make a wish upon this star tonight
With it I ask that Peace, Love, and Hope finds its way into the hearts of every mortal soul
giving each one their time to blossom and grow
and like the shifting breeze
move with its flow

Amen to that, brother ? Lovely poem. If it was mine, I'd cut down some of its middle, but it's not, so I won't ?
