I am book

Awash with themselves
Too many egos
On too many shelves
They only flock to see themselves
Its like a library
long overdue to leave
I cant believe it turned out this way
The clique crowd
Are the mainstay ingredient
The self supporting
Reading from books
Instead of being humble
With floor glancing looks
Look up
Shyly
Its much more sensitive

I relate to sensitivity
And engage with it
Let the hostile
And theĀ  shakers
The mover maker circles of click
The clatter and clack of a toothless grin
For what bites is replaced
In vanity

Should I have a book
Let it be a private affair
Perhaps share the fact with family
But
Before the world
Never just to say
Look what I have
Atop your scrawls and paper
In what I drape her
Vain and audacious
Loving his own voice
Sniffing the lines
In every breathe
I am fantastic
I am book
Sure to show you
Look
What I did.

I made sure you could see the cover.

Mr. Crompton is finding his voice again. Fan - tastic. Ooh, by the way Peter. I shall be at the thirsty scholar on Monday. After all, by coincidence, i shall be a Thirsty Scholar too! Good luck and see you and Scott and Gus Monday.

Fence sitters are like itching powder.
they shout

most often
are the louder ones.
