Posthumous collection by Leanne Bridgewater will aid animal protest campaigns

A posthumous collection of poetry and art by innovative poet, artist and animal rights campaigner Leanne Bridgewater, who died earlier this year at the age of 29, has been published by Hesterlock Press.

Fellow poet Antony Owen said that in Dharma Dialog “we see much loved writer and artist Leanne Bridgewater unabridged in the two art forms that she loved the most …  proving that a true artist like Leanne lives through every breath of each turned page.”

All profits from the book sales will be donated to West Midlands Hunt Saboteurs & Warwickshire Against The Cull. Her sister Donna said: “By buying a copy of this book you will also help one of the causes that she was so passionate about. Though Leanne's suicide was tragic, I want to make it clear that whenever you read one of Leanne's poems, or look at one of her pictures, you keep her spirit alive."

I met her twice reading in Manchester, certainly was a one off. I've seen bits of her work since. I suspect this will be a interesting book and will be a worthy tribute
