Conscious Uncoupling

 

Preamble

The phrase 'conscious uncoupling' was coined by Gwyneth Paltrow after separating from her partner of 10 years

 

Splitting up doesn't have to be nasty

Can be divorce with no remorse

The phrase is called 'conscious uncoupling'

Not staying on, making it worse

 

To be clear divorce is never easy

No matter how kindly you feel

The logistical, emotional journey is difficult

And things take a long time to heal

 

But if you have respect for each other

You can get around problems, reach the end

You'll succeed at your conscious uncoupling

And hopefully still end up as friends
