It is one clichéd stereotypical thing that I've noticed about us Brits, we do talk about the weather a fair bit and especially as a safe go to topic for those that hardly know each other. One thing I really liked about this is that it hints toward that emotional distancing by suggesting we might have to go as far back as talking about the weather to find some common comfortable ground.
