How revealing is it to discover a true friend?
Or to discover the one that pretends?
Choose carefully those you hang around,
You never know what lurks beneath a smile,
Trust but verify,
Be wise
the backstabber always has a disguise,
Plotting and scheming hoping you’d fall for the lies,
Grinning away as he showers
you with words made of knives,
Always think twice,
Keep your eyes open
Sometimes the jokers hides in plain sight.

The voice of experience? A good poem with a clear message.
Thanks for this
