Can somebody please help us?

We are inhabitants of planet earth

We have been around for a very long time

But we can’t breath

 

Some of us are humans, others not so

We need oxygen, food, clean air and water

Some of our friends live under the water

But we are all finding it harder to breath

 

There is an enemy who has also been 

an ever present in our world 

Slowly but surely, agonisingly, killing us

That’s why it’s so hard to breath

 

The enemy is a dangerous predator 

Cunning, ruthless and will stop at nothing

As long as they get what they want

Nothing matters, not even our breath

 

It has been tearing our planet apart

for as long as people can remember

And now, forest fires, millions of tons

of plastic, unwanted houses,

and we can’t breath

 

We are so very sorry to report

that nobody is listening to us,

and the earth is dying

Devastated to inform you

of no known cure

 

We can’t breath

Mans greed

Accelerates

As it closes further in...

To exterminate

Goodbye.
