The television ratings were

In trouble, they were falling

The CEO not happy

Said this is so appalling

 

Investors were not happy

Hip pockets it was mauling

We want our money, do something

We find this quite appalling

 

The boss approached the back-room boys

Give us ideas he's calling

The boys said no, we can't have this

State of affairs, appalling

 

The boys said up the sex, lots, heaps

The viewers will come crawling

Forget the fact some viewers might

Regard it as appalling

 

And many did.....

 

And ratings rocketed.....

 

And investors were happy.....

 

Money trumps morals.
