entry picture

As part of
2010 Bath Japanese Festival,
Writing Events Bath Presents:

Alan Summers - Renga: splicing spontaneity into your writing
Thursday May 20th 6.30 - 8.30 pm

Mr B's Emporium of Reading Delights
14-15 John Street
Bath, Avon BA1 2JL

WHAT IS RENGA?

Renga is a unique group 'collaborative' linked verse poetry form: each
verse moves on and shifts away from the previous verse which brings out
the ingenuity of the writers involved.

It provides an extra tool for novelists; poets; and non-fiction writers to
help maintain spontaneity in their writing.

It's as much the inter-play between writers that makes this both fun, and
highly productive, to your own writing; and acts as a real tonic for the
writer in isolation.
