I was in the black, out of control

I'm strong enough now, to please 

Just myself

Shouldn't be easy for anyone else

 

Take a look at how

I've become so astute

Jumping and singing

Just like a cute newt

 

Flying high up off the ground

Slightly ruined 

But still around

 

It's all because of

The favour of my first love

And what it does

 

Started well

Ends too soon

Then just became

An elephant in the room

 

It was all too much

I couldn't rest

Once I knew it failed

The £1 test

 

But now 

I'm forgetting

For the better

It's true
