Poetry to me's

About pulling emotions

Sad, happy, angry

Concocting life potions

 

Sometimes the potion's

Concocted with sad

Draws at the heartstrings

(We're not all iron-clad)

 

You (bit like me?)

Feel sadness quite deep?

Get tears in the eye?

Might fall in a heap?

 

Sometimes the potion's

Concocted with fun

Blues and dark shadows

Get scared off, go run

 

Then there's the potion

That pulls anger out

Emotions extreme

The writer's about

 

Doesn't matter the emotion

A potion brings, hosts

It's how you deal with it

That matters the most
