The Last Toast
Here's to all the loves I lost and the lovers I have gained,
here's to all the paths I've crossed and some on which I have remained,
Here's to all the hope I've tossed carelessly into the wishing well,
And here's to all the bawdy, roudy, tawdry tales I've lived to tell,
Here's to all the pretty maids that shared my well worn bed in youth,
Here's to all the wise old owls who taught me how to value truth,
Here's to all the tender lips I kissed in fiery flames of lust,
And here is to the final pair upon which I placed all my trust,
Here is to the melting pot of joys that is our heartfelt union,
here is to the lifelong frienship that was forged in that communion,
Here's one more to honour love that goes beyond the edge of vows,
And here's a last nod to the past toasted in the here and now,
And here's to all the futures that extend before us all,
And here is to the hand that helps you stand after you fall,
And here's to standing side by side so you never feel alone,
And here at last is one last glass to help to see you home.

Thanks Tom and thank you Don, I just had one of those, "Well this where we've got to and do you know what, the journey's not been so bad," kind of moments. Glad you enjoyed.
