Greed Rules the World – I Guess
We're always reading about climate change
But we still keep digging up coal
For sale around the world
I guess digging up coal is profit making
So that won't stop till the world ends
And by all accounts that won't be too long
I guess greed rules the world
And that will never change

Perhaps with an element of need too Don. We are not yet in a position to dispense with fossil fuels entirely.

Greed rules people in unexpected ways
Friendships all about monetary gains
If you are profitable in any way
Then your company they seek in every way
If you are no benefit to those around
Good riddance the word they pronounced
Greed is the new lust followed by all
