Humbert Humbert, Pleased To Meet You. (Forbidden Love)

Liquorice all-sorts are the best.

So many colours and so many choices,

What’s not to like?

Anyone would love a bit of that.

I’m the sweet shop’s best customer,

The ‘keeper wonders where I put it all...

I smile.

I’m generous and kind.

Be kind and considerate

And treat them with respect,

That’s they key.

I

Am a gentleman.

A romantic walk in the park

Hand in hand

I met her at the swings

She needed a push,

So I gave her what she wanted

I don’t see the problem.

She was happy

I was happy.

She wanted to play games and giggle

I felt loved

And smiled.

I ask, what’s wrong with that?

It’s so nice to meet someone new.

When you have to move around

It’s hard to find that someone special

It’s hard to find the one

The one you can love.

She looked at me,

I knew she could see

She could see me.

Her mother was so upset

When she found us

In the bushes.

I don’t see the problem,

It’s young love

And

She knew what she was doing.

She must have.
