SOMETHING

I saw something in the sky out beyond the trees; I’m not sure what it is.                                                                             It looked like a round grey sphere held there in the sky, not too far but ahead of my vision.

Observing it I become aware that it maybe doing the same to me, as our scientists watches bugs through a microscope, studying it. Am I being studied now while I watch this round object in the sky?

Could it be a hot air balloon or a helicopter looking funny due to an affect of the light? Turning away to write this poem,  I look back and the object has gone! Did I see it at all? What was it? My mind playing tricks or something up there that I can’t explain, not of this world?
