Feeling forgetful?There could be something fishy going on,

I have difficulty remembering information 30 minutes gone.

Eating many servings of salmon in the past I regret,

Grim facts concerning chemicals in salmon I have met.

 

The salmon farms in Norway cause the ocean beds to rot,

Open sewers on coastal waters unfortunately we have got.

A cocktail of poisons,raw sewage and corpses of dead fish,

Antibiotic laden fish food a foundation for our dish.

 

Global warming reduces oxygen levels in the seas,

Resulting in lice living on salmon feeling more at ease.

 Lice are destroying salmon in a confined space,

Eating down the bones on the fish's face.

 

Pollutents in the fat of the fish are a danger to eat,

Health problems in the future we humans could meet.

Algae last year killed 8 million salmon in Norway in one week,

A similar incident occured in Scotland,things are looking  bleak.

 

Wild fish can swim away from the blight,

Farmed fish are trapped,unable to take flight.

Just had  4  salmon platters farmed in Norway  delivered to my house,

Reading all the information my appetite for salmon it did dowse.

 

The four packs are there to be destroyed,

Sadly to the rubbish bin they will be deployed.
