Licking my wounds

Staring blankly out of the window

Trying to locate the direction 

From where the arrow came

Wounds and injuries inflicted upon

Tears rolling profusely and follow on

Bathed in pain, tears and blood oozing hurt

Don't know what to do, where to run

These sudden changes have disrupted peace

Snatched away my happy face

Leaving behind broken, painful me

A heart that beats the tunes of dismay and disbelief 

A hand that pulled me, has also buried me

The light that shine brilliantly has also blinded me

A lost soul, knows no place to go, no one to trust

All I am left with is a stranger staring back
