Sleep like a dream has eloped with my peace

Just twisting and turning in my bed at least

Feeling life taking on a new twist, turning a new leaf

A chapter beautifully scripted by my lord almighty

A happy ending is shining brightly as the moon mighty

The cool Ray's illuminating our paths leading to a newer tomorrow 

Hope's of reunion with loved ones keeps away all sorrows 

On a plane heavenly I embark the ship of life divine

The gates are decorated with sweet smelling flowers 

The scent spreading to every nook and corner of the earth 

As I enter the gates of paradise with a home beautiful by my Lord's side

A sigh of relief slowly slips from my supple lips

Thanking my God for leading me straight to his heavenly abode

Keeping my soul calm and quiet all the while

The last breath escapes my lovely body

Leaving behind a demised me, sleeping in earthly glory

As with a happy smiling face, I start to rise and shine

Slowly, gently making my way to my home divine

The earthly pain, turmoil and troubles finally ends tonight
