I think you have to be particularly partisan or paranoid to find "reasonable suspicion", MC, when the Election Infrastructure Government Co-ordinating Council comprised of Homeland Security and US Election Assistance Commission, state officials overseeing the election and representatives of the voting machinery industry all agree that this was "the most secure in American history".
Not "reasonable suspicion" at all but rather a "fishing expedition".

Apart from his appearance in the Downing Street garden to explain his Durham trip, I bet most of us could not relate one thing that he said or did.

JC - point taken about "evidence". But you might note how the MSM
has avoided any mention of the term "reasonable suspicion", the
basis for investigation and the obtaining of evidence.

Many thanks for liking this Stephen and Stephen.
Well i'm so glad you liked this Graham. To be honest, I wrote it in situ as it were on my phone notebook, then edited it quite a lot. It's a bit like reducing a sauce or stirring something until you're happy! Initially I though aye aye another Autumn poem, but I was pleased with it too!
Thanks Paul; you have to try to make the best of nature's spoils, even if it's grotty - there's happiness everywhere . It's a primeval thing is fire...

Emotions hiding behind an eye,
Shed them now have a cry.
Don't be overcome by this thief,
Shed them now to bring relief.
Emotions playing hide and seek,
Hope by now they've reached their peak.
The game is finished and you have won,
Enjoying vitamin D from the sun.

Plenty of "talk" of fiddled sums, MC. But as an ex bobby you'll appreciate the role of "evidence".
If it was on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook or Billy's Weekly Liar, Stephen, it must be true.

Many thanks for this Poem, which intelligently describes the horrors and the lack of tolerance and understanding still prevalent today to those who embrace their true identity.
As you say in your closing stanza, it wasn't all that long ago that this small home country we thankfully live quite safely in now would quite happily have persecuted, hunted down and imprisoned someone for being true to their selves.
Well done
Jon

I love the sound of a hang drum. Poetry is always better when it's heard rather than read. I just wish I had more of an aptitude for reciting myself. Thanks for your input Paul, I never, "Skip over," your words of advice because they're always good, always constructive and they always make see things from a new angle. Thanks mate.❤
