Some lovely pieces on your profile David, especially liked "Black Night Thing" and "somewhere the Sun"
Liked "Stay with me till morning" too. Wasn't keen on "The Bluest Blues" but then you can't please every one ;) I'm going to have to pop back and have a look at more of your pieces... x

I've been reading your poems, great stuff. hard and neat. 'somewhere the sun' rolls out beautifully.

David - Crash - for me, the first verse is complete on it's own - Superb! I can see where you're going with the second, but not sure that it adds anything much. Only my 2 cents. B

May thanks for your encouraging words David ,
It seem my 'pink and pretties' are getting as much comment as my poetry which really wasn't the objective, however don't let that stop you... wash day is Mondays.
Thank you so much for your comments and for taking the time to read.
Augusta xx

"Somewhere the Sun" I feel expresses in a different way what I was going on about in JUNK.
I really like it-"the poets leapt like tigers/or wanted to" is great and funny : )
I'm in North Herts and am looking for more open mic opportunities-anything doing in Beds?
